HydroGlen – Transforming the James Hutton Institute Glensaugh Research Farm into a green hydrogen project
In 2018 Water to Water pitched the idea of converting the James Hutton Institute’s Glensaugh Farm and associated local community to becoming a grid independent producer and user of renewable energy based green hydrogen.
Since then, Water to Water has been acting as Lead Consultant and overall Project Developer on HydroGlen for the James Hutton Institute.
Key deliverables have included: project concept development, project strategy, supply-chain engagement, partner management, tender-management, identifying & securing funding.
Water to Water continues to be involved with this exciting project, which is poised to become Scotland’s first green hydrogen farming community.
